Satan's attack against Christian

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time,

Casting all your care upon him, for he cares for you,

Be sober; be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect establish, strengthen, and settle you.

To him be the glory and the dominion forever and, Amen.

1 Peter 5:6-11

Why Christians are being attacked by the enemy?

Like what’s said in the song, Christians are more than conquerors and no one can defeat them.

But the problem with us is many are being defeated, we are holding grudges in our hearts. And by holding this grunge, it would grow and it would eat us.

Even a single whole can drain out all the water on a jar, meaning, even a single grunge can drain all the nobility of a good heart.

So we must learn how to forgive, by forgiving, we must learn to forgive others and ourselves.

Grudges are being used by the enemy to attack us, he could place a single evil thought to our mind and that thought would infect our whole being.

It is said in the bible that we should have self control and alert because our enemy the devil roars around like a hungry lion.

A roaring lion; but these lions fear a victorious Christian. So there’s nothing to fear about, because God will always be with you to protect you and to take care of you.

If we should offer something to God, we should offer the best that we could have.

Satan is an active enemy of Christians. If God is true, therefore, demons are also true. Humans do not have a human enemy, it is the demon who is inside the person who acts as the enemy of that person.

Satan is a spirit. It means he is not tangible, and he works into our minds to deceive us and he makes everything he can to make us away from God.

Even if problems seem to be over powering, there should still be a reason to smile. It’s because God is with us, and if God is with us nothing will going to happen even the devil can interfere because God is inside you.

“Have self control.”

What does it mean? It means being able to guard, and what should we protect?

Our mind is the battlefield of evil and good, it is the doorway to the heart. So we should protect our mind and only good things should be able to enter it and we should have a good discernment so that we could pin point what is good from evil.

Be alert, be vigilant. In our everyday life we are required to be alert, it is because of the fast phase that we are encountering. We should have vigilance in order for us to be watchful so that we are ready if danger was within us. In that way the danger wouldn’t occur in the first place.

Resist the devil, fight for it. We fought the demon, he will flee from us. Resist him, learn how to stand firm. Be brave, you know that God is with you.

Spiritual Separation Part 2

“But now I come to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my

Joy fulfilled in them.

I have given them your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

I do not pray that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil one.

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.

As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.”

John 17:13-19

If anyone that decided to be with Christ would be a new creation, old things are passed away. Old things are replaced y new things. It is the concept of our relationship with God, if you had noticed in the previous verse that this is the longest prayer of our Lord Jesus. He had said this,”Perhaps, I am coming to you father, I will say this until I was in this world.” And Jesus came from heaven to earth to show the way.

The fruit of salvation is joy.

God wants us to overcome the world in order to obtain our salvation.

We must isolate ourselves to the system of this world and live out the life that God has intended us to have. By living right we are being connected to God, and we could reach out to him easily.

For example, if the leader of your country was not doing is job. We shouldn’t fight him by doing rallies and boycotting. It is against the will of the Lord, and we are not following him by doing those things. Instead, we even commit mistakes. God placed those people in that position, every leader that we have right known was chosen by God. And if they are not doing their job well, it is their conviction with God. And they would have to pay the price.

Not all the ‘good’ things that we see is right for us, some of it could harm us physically and spiritually. So we must use the wisdom that God has given us to discern all the things that was coming in our way. We should know if it was brought y the Lord or not.

The only way that we could follow God’s will is to renew our mind, and by renewing our mind we would be needing wisdom. And wisdom is taken from listening and absorbing the word of God.

We should learn to pray for each other so that we could establish a good spiritual relationship. By having spiritual relationship we could establish unity and unity will help us to make the church grow abundantly with God’s people. We could help each other to improve ourselves and we could reach out to people who want to get closer to God.

Prayer is our shield; it is also the tool to make our faith stronger. And to build up our spiritual stamina so that we could be immune to the trials that we would encounter.

Jesus Christ left his throne on heaven to live a simple life here on earth for our sins. Because he loves us that he even gave his own life for us. He suffered on the cross and he was able to stomach all the pain that he has been through because of his great love for each and every one of us. So why we wouldn’t pay him back by worshiping and praising him? Our Lord would be always willing to get close to us. He is always willing to help us in every problem that we may encounter. And he will never leave us, no matter what the cost; he will stay in our side.

Spiritual Separation Part 1

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with Darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
I will dwell in them and walk among them.
I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Therefore
Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.
I will be a father to you, and you shall be my sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.”
2 Corinthians 6:14-18

What kind of pain that you are experiencing right now?

No matter what that pain is, only God can heal it. For He is the almighty Healer; and no one could overpass him.

There would be pressures that we would encounter in worshiping God but these pressures were just a trial that we could overpass when God is with us. When we feel pressure, we would also be able to feel God’s presence. The question is; how would we know if God is with us? The answer is simple, y just believing and having faith in Him.

It would be easy to determine if we are on God’s presence, everything that we would do will run smoothly. There would be no hindrances and problems. There might be trials but these trials were just a “test” or “quiz” that God knows we will surpass.

There is no such thing as an accident, everything that was happening to us were planned by God. And some of it was a fruit of our sins, but the most important thing is. God has a purpose in everything that surrounds us right know, we might not know for now what that purpose is, but surely that purpose would be a tool for our spiritual growth.

The word of God is the fuel for our soul, it is the one who keeps us going in our race to spirituality; the one who motivates us to pursue and finish the goal of our lives. So it is advisable for us to listen to the word of God as frequently as we could be. Let’s make it a habit that it would be difficult for us not to be able to grasp some word of God. It would be a lifestyle, a way of life. Well, obviously, listening alone would not be helpful. We should also live with it. Learn from it, and apply it to our everyday lives.

The best way to gain credits from God is to share what we have to others. By sharing, we would be able to give them the knowledge that we acquire in our past experiences. They will learn from it, and apply it. It would make a very big chance to their lives, and they would be inspired and thankful that they had been enlightened. And you are the instrument that God uses to touch their lives.

Spiritual separation means having a wall from God. You are “blocked” from the website of God; he cannot hear your prayers. And the wall that separates you from God is sin. We are locked by the sins that we commit, and the only way to gain access to God is by repenting and changing.

Another way that we Way to have spiritual separation with the Lord is when we do not followed his will, a good example is on serving the ministry. If we are convicted on the certain act that we had occurred, that action could be not attending or not paying attention in the church, we would be separated from the presence of God.

Serving God should be the first priority in our lives; it should be the number one on the ‘to-do list’. It should be a given, and by putting God at first in everything that we do. He will reward us by his never ending blessing.

Perils Of Apostacy Part 2

There are a lot of servants of God who had been cast away because of apostasy.

There was a story about the couple Ananias and Saphira who never gave their tithes, because of their greediness they have been convicted and died. She didn’t give even a single penny or percent to God; instead, she kept it for herself.

Every one of us is a servant of God, and we should convert conviction into something positive like changing our old deeds and giving ourselves a chance to have a new life with God.

The Lord taught us these three things:

  1. We must all remember that we had our own calling when we decided to reunite with God. And we should continue our responsibility and be an instrument of God to make His church reach up to other people.
  2. We must repent in every sin that we do; by asking forgiveness we should also turn our back to the old doings that we had done before.
  3. We should be totally renewed, and this means that we would completely forget our past lives and look forward to the new life that God has prepared for us.

When the time comes that our Lord Jesus Christ will come back, we are pure and clean. Our conscience is not altered and we could give our praises to him without hesitation.

It is said in Corinthians 7:1

Þ Therefore having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Meditate on these verse and remember what the Lord had said, “A good soil can harvest and God will be please, but the bad soil will never get crops.”

Perils of Apostacy (PART ONE)

Hebrew Chapter 6:4-12

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit.

And have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come.

If they fall away, “to renew them again to repentance” since they crucify again for themselves the son of God, and put Him to an open shame.

For the earth which drinks in the rain often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God.

But if it bears thorns and briers, if is rejected and near to being cursed. Whose end is to be burned?

But beloved, we are confident of better things that accompany salvation, though we speak in this manner.

For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name; in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end.

That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Don’t be lazy in worshipping God, by perseverance and patience; we would be setting a good example. Just like those people who suffered for God, they gave their whole trust to Him. And as a return, they will receive God’s promises.

Remember that worship is the atmosphere of God’s presence. If a man doesn’t know how to worship, then he is considered as lazy. Lazy in the spiritual sense, he could be very industrious and functional to the worldly life. But still, he was considered as lazy in the spiritual life.

Everything that was happening into our life is not an accident; God planned those trials and persecutions in our life in order for us to be strong. And God also wants us to give our whole trust in facing those obstacles. If God gave you that kind of problem, then He believes that you can solve it. He believes that you can outrun any obstacles in your life IF you will hold your faith unto Him.

When we praise and worship God in our church, we could feel a sudden bust of happiness to the point that we would cry, shout and laugh. The presence of God was there in that place, giving out His blessings to each and everyone of us.

Once you had fulfilled God’s plans, as a servant, He will lift you high and remember this: we are so blessed because God always finds a way to get close to you. He wants you to feel his unconditional love and blessings.

In worship, anointing was also occurring. Anointing is the process was the Holy Spirit was manifesting in us. The Holy Spirit guides every people in every decision they make.

The biggest mistake a man could do is to turn his back unto the Lord.

In Hebrew 6:4-6 it is said there that, “But what about people who turn away after they have already seen the light and have received the gift from heaven and have shared in the Holy Spirit? What about those who turned away after they have received the good message of God and the powers of the future world? There is no way to bring them back. What they are doing is the same as nailing the son of God to a cross and insulting Him in public!”

Back sliding is when you know what is the truth and still you ignored it. It is when you already accepted God as your savior and experienced his wonders and still decided to come back to sinning.

Every one of us is a back slider, when we commit sin, we back slide. If you wouldn’t engaged in repentance, you will never obtain salvation. Every one of us is a sinner so we couldn’t judge everyone back. How could we throw the stone if we are also deserves to be stoned?

The Lord said, “I will not punish you, go and have a new life.” having a new life mean forgetting and leaving the past. When you threw something away, it was already considered as useless… trash could be the perfect term. Our old life was only a trash left by our mistakes; we need to throw them away. We need to move on to our new life with God and start to become new again.

Repentance is the key for God’s forgiveness; let us remember that God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. He knows what the center of our heart is; he also knows when we are telling the truth.

The Lord said, until there is enough time; don’t ever let yourself forget your relationship with God. It would be ironic when God was the one who will turn His back from you.

It is said in Hebrews 3:12, “My friends watch out! Don’t let evil thoughts or doubts make any of you turn from the living God.

It is more punishable if you are the one that has caused the backsliding of others. There are a lot of servants of God who were the one that causes back sliding.

The Lord casts out everyone who back slides but the Lord forgives everyone who come back to Him. He will accept every sincere forgiveness and he will bring you back to God’s family.

Trials and sufferings could trigger apostasy; we could easily forget to turn to God because our patience was drained. We could outrun everything by having a strong foundation of faith with God.

God will shower his blessing to those who faithfully serves Him. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 9:24 that, “You know that many runners enter a race, and the only one of them wins the prize. So run to win!” it is the illustration of our faith, that if we continue to have faith and act upon it, we would win the race for God. In the world where we are living in, we are living with sins. It is scattered around us that morality seems to vanish, it would be a great challenge for Christians to hold on to God. But like what I had said earlier, God would help us if we would hold on to him.

By obtaining a relationship with God, you could have the benefits of almost everything. He will give you authority to cast out demons, he will shower you with his blessings... you could almost do everything because you bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. You are given wisdom from God, so use it, and enjoy its benefits. But we would be only be ale to cherish the gift once we received it, so receive the gift from God and accept him as your savior.

We only had once chance to live here in this world, so make it productive. Learn to be progressive and meaningful, and by serving God. You are already fulfilling God’s purpose. And it will please God, and you will be entitled to have an everlasting life.

Everyone would leave us except God, each and every one of us could be abandoned and be forgotten but God will never forget us. God is the only one who could love you at your best and worst part. He will lovingly forgive you and accept you as who you are. No matter how you do or how you looked like, he will be the one who will cherish your heart.

Jesus is our savior, it is said in the bible that the worst part of being disqualified in a service is to be disqualified in the service of God.

In Matthew 7:21, “Not everyone who calls me Lord will get into the kingdom of heaven. Only the ones who obey my Father in heaven will get in.”

Rise up people of God, if you are listening to the word of God and acting upon it, your life will change dramatically. New creation of you will be taken placed because you’ve already left your old, worn out self.

It is in God’s will that every time you receive a blessing, you should be able to share it. In Malachi 3:10, “I am the Lord All-Powerful, and I challenge you to put me to the test. Bring the entire ten percent into the storehouse, so there will be food in my house. Then I will open the windows of heaven and flood you with blessings after blessing.”

Those who will enter the kingdom of God are those who are following His’ will, and those who don’t are considered as cast-away. Why? Because they do not obey God’s will and by disobeying they are not honoring God.

Committing a sin is cutting the connection between man and God; God wouldn’t be able to hear the man’s prayers because the sins acts like a wall that separates the relationship of the two.

In 2 Corinthians 5:10, “After all, Christ will judge each of us for the good or the bad that we do while living in these bodies.”

After this life, there are two things that are waiting for us; reward or punishment. So it is better to work for your salvation and suffer here at earth rather than have a worldly life and be punished for Eternity. For God will never leave us, He has promised something better for us in Heaven.

It is better to be called poor if you are living in the presence of God rather than to be called rich and have a relationship far away from Him.

There is still time.

Now is the time to change.

And change comes within your heart.

Offer your heart to the Lord and he will change you and grant the desires of your heart.

Holy Spirit, Ministry of Conviction

“All this I have told you so that you will not go astray.
They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the father or me. I have told you this, so that when the time comes you will remember that I warned you. I did not tell you this at first because I was with you.
Now I am going to Him who sent me, yet none of you asks me. ‘Where are you going?’ Because I have said these things, you are filled with grief. But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me; in regard to righteousness, because I am going to the Father, where you can see me no longer, and in regard to judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.
I have much more to say to you, more than you can now ear. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you. All that belongs to the father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will take from what is mine and make it known to you.
In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me.
Some of his disciples said to one another, ‘what does he mean by saying, ‘In a little while you will see me no more, and then after a little while you will see me,’ and ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”
John 16:1-17
Worship is the atmosphere of God’s presence. When we worship, the Spirit of the Lord moves in our lives. The presence of the Lord is with us every time we worship, and at that moment God does miracles.

Here we are right now, in the midst of congregation to strive to join the presence of our Lord, Jesus Christ. People who are suffering in illness and diseases that seemingly impossible to be healed can absolutely be healed by God. Medicines and Doctors are only an instrument of God’s power to heal the sick. They are the extended caring hand of God.

Most of the time, the presence of the Lord was oblivious to us. We tend to have our own journey, and walk into our own chosen paths. We had forgotten that the Lord has his own eminent purpose for our lives. His wonders were best described to the wind, we could not conceive it but by the time it’ll occur we could strongly feel its existence.

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Holy Trinity. Its’ job is to administrates God’s law for his people. Unfortunately, we often disregard the Holy Spirit’s existence. We’ve been neglectful to recognize its presence.

It is said in the Holy Bible, in the verse that was presented on the previous page that the Lord will talk to us, he will remind us, and teach us. It says that when the spirit of truth comes, he will guide us in all truth. If we recognize the power of God through the Holy Spirit, we will not be in danger. If we would listen to Him, we would restrain ourselves from doing things that we might regret later on.

It was also said that, but when he, the spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. And because the Holy Spirit hears and sees, the Holy Spirit listens to our every word. The Holy Spirit will only speak based on what he hears, and he will respond to us through conviction.
Conviction is felt when we had done something inappropriate. It is to rebuke or to deny, to make it sound convincing for ourselves. There is a whispering “voice” inside of us that reminds us that the act was wrong. This silent voice inside us is the Holy Spirit; it speaks us through our conscience and delivers the Lord’s message. The Holy Spirit is our secret agent.

There are times when the voice inside us became silent; we became deaf into what the Holy Spirit says because our personal desires have been all over us. We ignore the Holy Spirit y giving in to those self-centered cravings in life. You would be ale to hide secrets from other people but the Holy Spirit knows what you have done and he will always remind you to change.

The Holy Spirit wants us to repent for our sins; he wants us to admit it from the first time that we had a conviction. The Holy Spirit wants us to be purely honest to God, to cleanse our heart from guilt and resentment.

Let us put into our mind that when there is no conviction, there would be no conversion. We would never change; we would assume that what would be doing is right because it satisfies our desires. The idea of being aware is not present or existing. Once we felt the conviction y the time we are just about to act, listen and obey on what the Holy Spirit says. Do not make any second thought that will make you feel guilty afterwards. That’s the signal, act upon it.

It was said in John 8:32 that, Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. We should stop being resentful and free ourselves of our since, the past will never happen again unless we continue to do the same mistake over and over again. That’s one of the reasons why we should consider following the will of the Lord because the Lord doesn’t want us to suffer. That before we could ever decide, the Holy Spirit was already there, patiently reminding us of how we should be.

In 1 Corinthians 3:16 the bible says that, “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you?” It means that we should be responsible for our bodies that by taking care of it, we would be able to please God.

We should develop the desire to come to God, because this desire will keeps us going. Do you know what dedication means? It means to give your full devotion, to give your full attention and love for God.

Verse 8 says, when he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. It is said that the Holy Spirit operates with the consent of the Lord; the Lord is the Holy Spirit. He is the voice of conviction that communicates inside of us. We absolutely know if we are committing a sin and by that scenario we are arguing with the Holy Spirit. And that’s were the consequences come into place, everything that we do has their own respective consequences.

For example, you are having a relationship with someone who is already married. You tend to ignore others; you don’t care to anyone but them. Because you said that you are in loved. Your “love” could be so strong that you couldn’t think of rational things. That is not love, for love is patience, kind, not jealous and is willing to take rightful sacrifices (1Corinthians 13). What you might feel is the lust of the flesh, for the other person was already married. And you are tempted to be with that person who is committed to someone else. The Holy Spirit doesn’t wants you to stay trapped on that situation, for everyone who gives in to their flesh would be put to punishment. It was said in Gal. 5:9, “The Lord will perish the people who are doing those things.” But God doesn’t want that, he doesn’t want us to be punished. The Lord wants us to be saved, for he loves us so much.

The Lord will always wait for us to ask forgiveness. Ask him for forgiveness, never be hesitant to approach him and say, “Lord, I am sorry!” Asking for forgiveness would be easy if we will learn how to humble ourselves and have the eagerness to change.

Conviction will continue to remind you your sins to the point that you won’t be able to sleep. You would feel anxiety so much that it will cause you to get sick. Our Lord knows everything that we do, and nothing could slip on his sight.

Some things that we wanted couldn’t be the right thing for us; our own judgment could not see the entire perspective. We could be blinded by our own desire that the justification of the actions that will do would be unnecessary. It was like touching the boiling water ever knowing that it is hot.

Ending a wrong doing could be very painful… at first. It’s like a habit that could be very hard to break. Quitting is though, but manageable. And the key to stop in continuing to commit sin is to build your faith in God.

And it says: not only in regards to sin, but in regards to righteousness. In our lives, God wants us to be righteous, and at the same time religious. Religions always have their flaws, so there is no such thing as perfect religion. But still, we could develop or perfect relationship with God.

Righteousness comes from the Holy Spirit.

God encourages us, through the conviction of the Holy Spirit, to accept that Jesus is only way. The only key for us to be righteous sons of God; Remember that when you accept Jesus in your heart, His righteousness will be in you.

The Holy Spirit convinced the people that Satan is defeated at the cross where Jesus suffered in Calvary 200 years ago. In that way, conviction was given to us so that we could distinguish the doings that could harm us. It would give us wisdom to deceive the plans of Satan.

200 years ago, Satan lost his power. So there is no way that he will continue to control your life. If you will stay in sin, then you would probably remain in sin. You could stand up and walk away from him, and by walking away from him you would be closer to God.

Remember this, in the last days everyone will be put to Judgment (Rom 1). By sinning, we could swallow the judgment. But by obeying, we would receive the reward from God; and that rewards awaits us in heaven.

It is said in the bible, in the midst of crisis the Lord will speak. We just need to listen to the voice of his conviction. The Lord speaks to our hearts; we just need to open it for Him.
