Spiritual Separation Part 2

“But now I come to you, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have my

Joy fulfilled in them.

I have given them your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

I do not pray that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil one.

They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Sanctify them by your truth. Your word is truth.

As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world.

And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.”

John 17:13-19

If anyone that decided to be with Christ would be a new creation, old things are passed away. Old things are replaced y new things. It is the concept of our relationship with God, if you had noticed in the previous verse that this is the longest prayer of our Lord Jesus. He had said this,”Perhaps, I am coming to you father, I will say this until I was in this world.” And Jesus came from heaven to earth to show the way.

The fruit of salvation is joy.

God wants us to overcome the world in order to obtain our salvation.

We must isolate ourselves to the system of this world and live out the life that God has intended us to have. By living right we are being connected to God, and we could reach out to him easily.

For example, if the leader of your country was not doing is job. We shouldn’t fight him by doing rallies and boycotting. It is against the will of the Lord, and we are not following him by doing those things. Instead, we even commit mistakes. God placed those people in that position, every leader that we have right known was chosen by God. And if they are not doing their job well, it is their conviction with God. And they would have to pay the price.

Not all the ‘good’ things that we see is right for us, some of it could harm us physically and spiritually. So we must use the wisdom that God has given us to discern all the things that was coming in our way. We should know if it was brought y the Lord or not.

The only way that we could follow God’s will is to renew our mind, and by renewing our mind we would be needing wisdom. And wisdom is taken from listening and absorbing the word of God.

We should learn to pray for each other so that we could establish a good spiritual relationship. By having spiritual relationship we could establish unity and unity will help us to make the church grow abundantly with God’s people. We could help each other to improve ourselves and we could reach out to people who want to get closer to God.

Prayer is our shield; it is also the tool to make our faith stronger. And to build up our spiritual stamina so that we could be immune to the trials that we would encounter.

Jesus Christ left his throne on heaven to live a simple life here on earth for our sins. Because he loves us that he even gave his own life for us. He suffered on the cross and he was able to stomach all the pain that he has been through because of his great love for each and every one of us. So why we wouldn’t pay him back by worshiping and praising him? Our Lord would be always willing to get close to us. He is always willing to help us in every problem that we may encounter. And he will never leave us, no matter what the cost; he will stay in our side.
